The Austrian film icon Nadja Tiller is a kid. The leading actress in the film “The Girl Rosemarie” died at the age of 93.
In 1949 she was elected the very first “Miss Austria”, then she developed into one of the most renowned actresses in Austria. Now Nadja Tiller has died. She spent her last years in Hamburg The death of the “Lulu” actress confirmed her Daughter Natascha Giller of the “Bild” newspaper.
Nadja Tiller died in the presence of her caregiver
“My mother died last night in the Augustinum in Hamburg. She fell asleep peacefully in the presence of a nurse,” confirmed Giller on Tuesday morning. She does not give a cause of death.

About the last hours of the screen legend, Giller reveals: “She wasn’t alone, we are very grateful for that as a family. The nurse called me at six o’clock this morning and informed me. I was Visiting my mother last week. My brother and I are now making arrangements and will be going to Hamburg in the next two days. We will also be there at the crematorium.”
Tiller celebrated in 1958 her breakthrough
Nadja Tiller celebrated her international breakthrough in 1958 with “The Girl Rosemarie”. In this film she played the luxury call girl Rosemarie Nitribitt. She was able to get other roles in celebrated productions such as “Lulu”, “Erotica”, “Poppy is also a flower” or the comedy classic “Die Feuerzangenbowle”.
In recent years, the Austrian was no longer active. She made her last film in 2009: “Dinosaurs– You look old against us!” by director Leander Haussmann. In it she played alongside her husband Walter Giller, who died in 2011.
Nadja Tiller and Walter Giller were considered a dream couple in the celebrity world in the fifties and sixties. They married on February 5, 1956 and were together until Giller’s death. The marriage produced two children, daughter Natascha Giller and son Jan-Claudius Giller.
