In addition, the company Violeta bought the Austrian company Schmid Maissau, which made a large acquisition in the territory of the European Union. It is a brand of well-known Austrian gingerbread that is as old as 110 years, which opens the door to the European market for the domestic company. It should also be emphasized that Ćorluka announced the opening of a completely new factory in Grude, which will deal with the production of cardboard packaging. It is an investment of as much as 30 million euros, and the factory will be at the world level. There, among other things, packaging for Lasta, but also for other companies, will be produced, which will complete the production process. Let us remind you that Violeta in itself is a regional leader in the production of hygienic paper, as well as washing and cleaning products. When everything comes together, it is clear that the owner of these companies, Petar Ćorluka, is making a “world business story” in Grude and Čapljina. In addition, Ćorluka also invests in tourism and hospitality in BiH and Croatia. One of his biggest projects is the reconstruction of the “Hrvatska” hotel in Baške Vode, in which he invests as much as 20 million euros. New facilities in Grude
The shopping center in Grude was designed as a unique and modern architectural solution that will attract people from Herzegovina and beyond with its content. The new destination for shopping and entertainment for the whole family will cover a total of 7,000 square meters. Visitors will be offered numerous entertainment, hospitality and sales facilities in one place, such as: a modern children’s playroom, restaurant, coffee bar, drugstore, hypermarket and popular fashion brands. Due to all of the above, 300 parking spaces on two floors outside and an internal, underground garage are planned within the building. The completion of the project is expected in the next year. The conceptual design for the look of the tobacco station in Grude, which has recently been owned by Violeta, is also being developed.
