The hotel Villa Tortuga, in Varadero, will be the first “pet friendly” hotel facility in Cuba, according to statements by Diana Beatriz Olivera Rodríguez, Commercial Vice President of the Gran Caribe hotel Group.
It was a scoop offered by the Gran Caribe hotel Group at the 43rd edition of the International Tourism Fair, FITUR 2023, where they also reported on new products in its tourism offer.
In exclusive statements for traveltradecaribbean.( TTC) Diana Beatriz Olivera Rodríguez, Commercial Vice President of the Group, commented that they will open the first hotel facility ” pet friendly” in Cuba, at the Villa Tortuga hotel, in Varadero, perfect for those travelers who want to vacation with their pets.
On the other hand, at the end of winter and in the vicinity of the summer, they will be launching a club for young people over 21 years of age, at the Kawama hotel, also in the primary spa of the country, with an animation directed specifically for this segment, with services both within the hotel and outside the hotel.
According to Olivera Rodríguez, the Spanish market is of great interest to Gran Caribe, since It is among the top five.
It is intended to transform Cayo Largo into the Smart Tourist Destination guide for Cuba and the Caribbean. For this, a contract has been signed between the Gran Caribe hotel Group and SEGITTUR during FITUR2023
During the days of the event, the Group held various meetings with representatives of Tour Operators and Travel Agencies accredited in the event.
