Grupo Inversor Hesperia, a Spanish-based hospitality group, remain in innovative settlements with Accor to broaden their brand name footprint in Spain. The talks centre around the marketing of the previous Expo hotel Valencia as a Novotel residential or commercial property.
The home is owned by Swiss bank Pictet after a EUR30 million acquisition in 2015. The previous Expo hotel Valencia would be run by Hesperia and commercialised under the Novotel brand name.
Previously a 3 hotel, the home will go through a comprehensive restoration to update it to 4 and enhance its sustainability efficiency.
Located a brief walk from Valencia’s historical centre, the hotel boasts roughly 400 guestrooms, a roof balcony with outside swimming pool, a dining establishment, a bar and a big MICE area.
Grupo Inversor Hesperia prepares to broaden its portfolio in the Iberian nation. In May of this year, the Grand Hyatt La Manga Club and Resort will open its doors in Murcia.
