Almost 16 years since the disappearance of the then three-year-old girl Maddie McCann from a hotel in the Algarve, Portugal, a girl from Poland has appeared on social media claiming to be the missing Maddie. However, according to the investigators, she is almost certainly dead. But some users think that Polka seems to have fallen out of the eye of the lost Inza Gehricke.

The young woman goes by the nickname @iammadeleinemccann on social networks, reports Mirror . The idea that she might be one of the most famous lost children was put to her by her grandmother a few months ago. In the videos, she shows several features in common with the missing Madeleine and claims to be 21 years old, but is not 100% sure of her age. She is thus asking for a connection with Maddie’s parents and DNA tests.
Even social network users who watch the videos do not believe her version. She reminds them of a little girl who was nicknamed the German Madeleine. Five-year-old Inga Gehricke disappeared eight years after Madeleine and still has not been found.
On the day of her disappearance, little Inga went with her friends to the forest for wood . However, she did not return from it to the rest of the family, which was preparing a picnic at Wilhelmshof in Germany. Even the dog handlers and hundreds of helpers who searched for the girl did not help.
People think that the Polish girl could be the lost Inga. So the self-proclaimed internet detectives got to work and are trying to unravel this mystery. “She doesn’t look like Madeleine,” wrote one of the commenters on the TikTok social network. “She looks identical to the missing Inga,” added another.
