The owner of RegioJet continues to build the accommodation part of his group, he is preparing a night train to the Alps.
RegioJet Hotels GmbH, which belongs to the travel group owned by Radim Jančura, has acquired another Alpine hotel. It is the hotel Tieflehner Hof Pitztalhaus, which is the second hotel operated by RegioJet Hotels in the Austrian Alps after hotel Wallackhaus. It lies at the foot of Austria’s highest Pitztal glacier at an altitude of 1,600 meters above sea level in Tyrol. The capacity is 120 beds. According to the company’s statement, the location of the hotel and its services are aimed at ordinary skiers as well as racing teams of top athletes. Olympic champion Eva Adamczyková (née Samková) was recently accommodated here with her team. Similar to his first Austrian hotel, Jančura offers, for example, cheap beer. A pint of Pilsner Urquell costs two euros. “ Previously, Czechs preferred apartments where they cooked themselves, today they prefer half-board at a good price. We calculate only raw materials and the costs of cooks and staff into the price. It makes no sense for guests to spend time in the kitchen,” says Radim Jančura, owner of RegioJet Hotels. Customers have free Illy coffee, chocolate, water, soda, syrups or tea in the self-service. Accommodation services are always half-board in the form of a buffet breakfast and a four-course dinner with a choice of two menus. It includes a wellness center with three saunas, a large pool and a smaller children’s pool. Most of the staff speak Czech. In the future, people could reach almost all the way to the hotel by RegioJet train. The carrier plans to launch night trains to Tyrol
