Couple from Jaru leaves their teenage son alone in a hotel and ends up arrested in Vilhena: she was drunk and he was on the run
Witness caught car driving in the opposite direction in the city center
On the night of this Sunday (30), upon receiving a complaint about a disagreement between a couple, who would be fighting inside a car in the main region of Vilhena, the Military Police went to the regional, but did not locate the vehicle and those involved.
A new radio call, however, informed the military that a witness had seen the car with license plates of the city of Jaru traveling in the opposite direction near Nossa Senhora Aparecida square, also in the center.
After passing through Avenida Major Amarante, the vehicle was approached in front of a hotel in the Bodanese neighborhood. On board the VW Gol was a couple showing signs of drunkenness. The man and woman said they lived in the city of Jaru, confirmed having consumed alcoholic beverages and revealed the exchange of verbal offenses.
The woman, who was driving the car, refused to take the breathalyzer test and reported that her son, a 13-year-old boy, had been left alone in the hotel where the couple had stayed . The Tutelary Council was activated and started to take care of the teenager.
Before taking the couple to Unisp (Delegation), where medical tests confirmed the driver’s drunkenness, the military found that there was an arrest warrant against the man, issued in the county from Jaru. He was taken to the Penal Colony and the car collected from the Ciretran yard.
