Move.Link.Engage. the conference entitled The Power of Partnership will be held on Tuesday, November 15 at the Mona Plaza hotel, for the eighth time, organized by the Belgrade Open School (BOŠ). This year’s focus is on the importance of cooperation between the civil, business and public sectors, especially in areas such as environmental protection, improving youth employability, social responsibility and conscientious corporate governance.

Move. Link.Engage. as a unique online forum that deals with improving the quality of life in the community will gather representatives of all three sectors, in order to encourage discussion between experts in the mentioned spheres. The BOŠ team conducted an analysis on the topic of cooperation between the business and civil sectors, and the conference will present research and concrete recommendations on how to improve this cooperation. Three successful initiatives of the civil and business sector will be presented, resulting from the activities of BOŠ and partner organizations. The focus will be on the motives for joint action, the challenges that the representatives of the initiatives faced during joint action, but also strategies for overcoming them. The goal is common– the establishment of a sustainable, cross-sector partnership for the future with concrete steps towards its realization.

    For the past seven years, Move.Link.Engage. gathered more than 145 speakers, which had the opportunity to listen to as many as 1,450 participants on over 40 panels, with the support of 12 donors. From 2015 to the present day, the goal of the conference has remained unchanged – promoting knowledge, partnership and responsibility through constant work on improving the quality of life in the community and dealing with issues of social importance. The event is supported by the American Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Embassy of Sweden in Belgrade, and is organized by the Belgrade Open School in cooperation with the BFPE Foundation for a Responsible Society, the Balkan Research Network Serbia and the Nordic Business Alliance.
