Following the blast in an autorickshaw in Mangaluru, Karnataka, on Saturday, the Coimbatore City and District (Rural) Police have actually tightened up security and increased the vigil on lodges, hotels, and estates.

The believed mastermind of the Mangaluru blast, Mohammed Shariq, 24, who was hurt in the surge, remained at a lodge at Gandhipuram in the city for a short duration in September by fabricating his identity.

Following this, the authorities increased the vigil on hotels, lodges, and estates in Coimbatore and advised the owners to establish CCTV cams on their properties. The authorities likewise continue to perform lorry look at the district’s border with Kerala and in the city.
