More information emerge following the harsh attack on Def Leppard drummer in Florida.
Rick Allen, the drummer of famous rock group Def Leppard, was attacked outside the hotel where he remained after a program in South Florida. The 59- year-old remained in South Florida to carry out a program at the Seminole Hard Rock hotel and Casino over the previous weekend, where Def Leppard was co-headlining with Mötley Crüe.
Allen, who lost his arm in a cars and truck mishap in 1984, was standing outside the Four Seasons in the valet location, having a smoke. According to a Fort Lauderdale cops report, he was then strongly assaulted by 19- year-old Max Edward Hartley, who was checking out from Ohio.
Authorities stated Hartley concealed behind a pillar outside the hotel while Allen smoked his cigarette. He ran complete speed at the drummer, knocking him to the ground. The report states that Allen “struck his head on the ground, triggering injury.” A lady who experienced the attack lacked the hotel to assist Allen, where Hartley assaulted her too.
Hartley was jailed a brief time later on at another hotel, supposedly breaking cars and truck windows. He was charged with 2 counts of battery, 4 counts of criminal mischief, and abusing a senior or handicapped grownup.
On Tuesday, Hartley supposedly published bail and was launched from Broward Country Jail. A news professional photographer is stated to have actually asked him why he assaulted a guy with one arm or if he understood that the guy was Def Leppard’s drummer, to which Hartley did not respond.
Allen, who suffered a head injury in the attack, has actually supposedly offered a sworn declaration and informed cops that he plans to push charges. Def Leppard has yet to talk about Allen’s condition or the occurrence.
The Florida program was the last prior to a break in the band’s exploring schedule. Their next look is set for May 22 in Sheffield, England.
