Real estate affairs, Islam and mosques. The shadow of Qatar has invaded Europe –

Business, gigantic real estate investments, support for Islamic “cultural” organizations, financing for mosques. Europe has already been invaded by Qatar.

It’s not just about stellar shopping in the “property” between luxury hotels, big brands and dream complexes in the major Italian cities. Out of ideological subordination or out of convenience, in the last two decades Europe has undergone a creeping colonization of the Emirate, which is comparable in size to Abruzzo but boasts enormous financial means and exports an Islamism which has the ambition to be hegemonic, even in Italy.

From Saronno to Mazara del Vallo, a huge and capillary flow of money from Qatar crossed the peninsula. Almost 23 million earmarked for 45 mosque projects. Qatar has become “the main financier of Islamic centers in Europe, mostly linked to the Muslim Brotherhood”, attested one of the world’s leading experts on fundamentalism, the Italian Lorenzo Vidino. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Softened by the leftist political correctness, the whole continent has been cut like butter by the ideological Islam affiliated with the Qatari parent company. But the events that shocked the European Parliament two days ago, with arrests and interrogations, make everything appear even more disturbing: perhaps self-submission is not dictated only by naivety.

The permeability of the EU, or of the countries that belong to it, is the history of these years. The latest case broke out in November 2021: a large-scale communication campaign, sponsored by the EU and launched by the Council of Europe, presented the veil as an emblem of freedom. “Beauty is in diversity as freedom is in the hijab” we read in the “manifestos”, then withdrawn amid protests and embarrassments. The age campaign conceived as part of the inevitable initiative against hate messages, and on the other hand Europe has financed reports on Islamophobia drawn up in collaboration with Turkey, an ally of Qatar, in the name of the same binomial: Islam and hegemony.

Tariq Ramadan is supported by Qatar, thanks to which he also had a professorship at Oxford. Grandson of the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood, the professor-preacher was considered the ideologist of an Islam capable of inflaming the masses and seducing progressive Western elites. In 2016 in Milan, a few days from the Municipal offices, he was the guest of an event promoted by the European Muslim at the Chamber of Labour.

And in the Milanese area there was much talk of the “Qatar Charity”, powerful “NGO” of the Emirate – actually linked to the government – associated with political Islam and capable – according to the UCOII (the Union of Italian Islamic Communities) – of investing those millions destined for mosques. Qatar documents, an investigative book by Christian Chesnot and Georges Malbrunot, two deans of French journalism, dealt with that river of money. The 5 million directed to Bergamo triggered a dispute that ended up in court. In Brescia, a plaque reminds us that the car park – inaugurated “in the name of Allah” by Sheikh Hamad Bin Jassim Al Thani – was built with 100,000 euros from the Qatar Charity. A chapter of the book on Qatari documents was dedicated to Sesto San Giovanni, a peaceful city symbol of the left, later chosen for a mega minaret. Matteo Salvini opposed it and Giorgia Meloni also said no to the “largest mosque in Northern Italy”. Age 2017: “A mosque – he wrote – largely financed by the Qatar Charity Foundation, a charity repeatedly associated with Islamic fundamentalism”. “The feel-good left is growing its own monster at home – he ruled – and wants to transform the former Stalingrad into the new Mecca of Italy”.
