Rondônia participates in the first hospitality and tourism event in the North region, on the 13th and 14th, in Porto Velho

ATTRACTIONS

With a focus on business strengthening and better positioning of enterprises in the State tourist segment, the Government of Rondônia, through of the State Superintendence of Tourism – Setur, will be holding, in partnership with the company Easy Hotéis, between the 13th and 14th of February, Easy Connecta, the 1st Hospitality and Tourism Fair of the North region, in Porto Velho.

The event has the proposal to bring a model of hotel and tourism fair, combined with a space with a lot of information through debates, forums, presentations and lectures on the market of this important segment, which moves the economy throughout the year across the country.

For the holder of the State Tourism Superintendence – Setur, Gilvan Pereira Júnior, it is a need for the Government of Rondônia to structure, expand and bring connections with hotel companies. “The hotel sector is part of tourism and is an important agenda, as it is practically a postcard to guarantee comfort, safety and to serve tourists in the best way”.

The governor of Rondônia , Marcos Rocha points out that the state has many tourist attractions and “the hotel network is extremely important to welcome these people who come from municipalities and other states. In addition, tourism moves our economy throughout the year and this event will be another opportunity to show the range of attractions we have in all regions of the State”.

Monday (13):

Career guidance with hotel Consult, from 10am to 7pm;
• Opening of the fair and talk by the CEO of Easy Hotéis: “Opportunities are to the north”, from 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm;
• The General Data Protection Law – LGPD in hotels and tourism, from 2 pm to 2:30 pm;
  • Cashback, points and loyalty programs in hotels and tourism, from 2:45 pm to 3:15 pm;

  Career development in the hotel and tourism industry, from 3:30 pm to 4:00 pm;

• It’s Not Easy: “The power of the owner’s thinking and sense of belonging for his success ”, from 4:30 pm to 5:00 pm;
• ESG in hotels and tourism, from 5:15 pm to 5:45 pm;

Tourism Forum, from 6pm to 7pm.

Tuesday (14):

Career guidance with hotel Consult, from 10 am to 7 pm;

Tourism and hospitality technology forum, from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm;

Climate action in hotels and tourism, from 4:30 pm to 5:00 pm;

Technology in hospitality and tourism through the eyes of a robot – 17:00-17:30;

hospitality – 6pm-7pm.

1st MEETING OF MANAGERS

With the purpose of promoting integration and alignments, with good practices and expansion of knowledge among the participants, the State Superintendence of Tourism – Setur, will promote, between the 14th and 15th of February, the 1st Meeting of Municipal Managers of Tourism in Rondônia, which will be attended by secretaries, interlocutors and regional representatives.

The meeting will take place at the Rosilda Shockness Auditorium, located on the 11th floor of the Rio Pacaás Novos building of the Rio Madeira Palace, in Porto Velho. On the occasion, tourism management projects in Rondônia will be presented; the programs executed by Setur, such as “Viva Rondônia”, “Viaja mais Server”, among other actions.
