Like BILD exclusively learned, the district court of Leipzig issued a penalty order against the singer and presenter. Because Mross hit a man in the “Penta hotel” on May 1, 2022.
A spokeswoman for the public prosecutor’s office confirmed BILD: “There was an investigation into of the allegation of bodily harm in combination with attempted coercion. The result of these investigations was a sufficient suspicion.” And: “The penalty order was issued on November 8, 2022 by the District Court of Leipzig.”
Since Mross did not appeal, there was no court hearing The penalty order has been final since November 29, 2022.

How much Mross had to pay is unclear. It’s less than 90 daily rates. According to the public prosecutor’s spokeswoman, the TV star still has a criminal record and is entered in the federal central register.

The folk music star: “I arrived at the ‘Penta hotel’ around 10:30 p.m. The next day I had a performance near Leipzig. I wanted to eat something, sat down in the restaurant. A young guy came up to me, no more than 25 years old.”

This immediately insulted him. “He called me a ‘schlager fuzzi’ and ‘playback artist’. I had never seen him before. It was like that the whole time. Nevertheless, I ignored him.”

When the police officers took up the ad, the man stood by and laughed. Mross is certain: “He clearly intended that I freak out. I didn’t sleep all night, but then I couldn’t change it.”
That’s why he accepted the penalty order. “I didn’t feel like it , to have to go to court for such an idiot.”
