Oslo for a romantic luxury weekend

If romance is to blossom, Oslo has a lot to offer for those who want delicious luxury. If you land either at Gardermoen or at Oslo S relatively early, you start at Oslo’s most charming and romantic lunch:

Brasserie France

The Thief is an experience for the senses.

When it is done, you check into the luxury hotel in Oslo: The Thief.

After some delicious leg stretches on the lovely beds in the hotel, we recommend a trip out to experience some of the most romantic things that Oslo can offer.

St. Lars and their absolutely lovely Grilla côte de bœuf

For a wonderfully tough and very good dinner, we wholeheartedly recommend a trip to St. Lars. You will be looking extremely long for a better steak than their Grilla côte de bœuf for two Worth every penny.

A trip past the castle is always a majestic experience.

We recommend to go up to the restaurant located at Bislet, it takes half an hour. The tour goes past the National Theater and through Slottsparken, later past the Bislet stadium. A proper Oslo trip.

Blessed Svanen

After the visit to St. Lars, male can take the tram down to the city. It takes 15 minutes down to Stortorvet. If you are going to end the evening with a beverage in the city centre, we would recommend Svanen/DG Æ

for a last beverage before guy heads back to the hotel.

Day two in Oslo we recommend visiting Sørenga if you are in Oslo on a sunny day. Which, incidentally, is 93 per cent of in Oslo. Of course, after you have eaten the absolutely incredible breakfast at the hotel, and experienced some of the best Oslo has to offer. After all, it’s the afternoon sun you want here.

Vigelandsparken is an experience. again and again.

Beautiful Vigelandsparken

If you are rarely in Oslo, a trip to Vigelandsparken is recommended. The trip up there takes 45 minutes on foot, shorter if you choose an electric scooter. Should it be a more rainy day, which is rare, then a trip to the very charming Gimle Cinema is recommended and one of their morning films on Saturday. The cinema has a liquor license both outside and inside.

For lunch on day two you can, for example, have

Eckers Cafe in Frognerveien. Anne in the country inside Frognerparken is also worth it.
Mexican Magic

From Frognerparken, a walk up to Majorstuen subway is a nice, short walk (10 minutes). Then take the track down to Jernbarnetorget (remember your ticket), and then take the trip out to Sørenga. Coyo is ours favorite there, with its Mexican food, good service and atmosphere. Nevertheless: First and foremost a place for sun and with a wonderful location, and a wonderful starting point for an evening on the town.

If you want to have a really high beverage on the way back to the hotel, you can take the lift to the top of the Munch Museum

As on the way out there is an art experience, and on the way back the bar with perhaps Oslo’s coolest view.

Then guy gets to assess how much guy goes out on the town in Oslo, guys at Bjørvika you’ll find, among other things, the cool Hammerhead

Here you can book a room at The Thief
