Vinistra announces the 11th premier tasting of young Malvasia in Zagreb

Wine connoisseurs and wine lovers will gather on February 13 at the Esplanade hotel in Zagreb for the 11th edition of the Young Malvasia En Primeur, organized by Vinistra, the association of winegrowers and winemakers of Istria.

Vinistra was the first in Croatia 13 years ago to organize this attractive event based on the model of tasting new vintages in wine France, and since then every year owners of restaurants, wine shops, coffee shop bars, distributors, hoteliers, wine critics and journalists have been waiting for February to enjoy socializing with winemakers and Malvasias of the new vintage, from whom much is always expected, because the bar has been raised very high. Istrian winemakers will also be joined this year by their colleagues from Kvarner with young Žlahtins and Bregovita Croatia with autochthonous varieties of the 2022 vintage.

Traditionally, the tasting is divided into two parts, from 1 to 4 p.m. exclusively for the business audience, and from 4 to 7 p.m. for the general public and wine lovers.
