The who’s who of Washington’s political elite came down upon the Hilton near Embassy Row ahead of the yearly White House Correspondents’ Dinner for the CBS News x Politico Pre-Reception.
Around 200 visitors in vibrant gowns and tuxedos were shoulder-to-shoulder in a summertime garden camping tent in the yard of the hotel, a number of whom talked about the increasing temperature levels till the plastic drapes were quickly opened to let air in.
The visitors consisted of reporters, governmental competitors and sports stars consisting of Asa Hutchinson, Brittany Griner and the host of the night, comic Roy Wood Jr.
